Okay, that (below) was written at four something this morning... so I'll write something more about the picture and not about having a crush on Gedeon/Wilhelm.


Awright. So, like I said, I've wanted to draw him for a very long time so yesterday after finishing the Mutemath picture I decided to draw him. I -kinda- drew his face from a ref? I have one from a similar angle but to me this looks a lot different from the ref. And I took stills from the movie**

I -was- going to do the SS uniform, but I couldn't decide so I asked my mom and she picked this outfit. Maybe soon I'll draw one in the uniform...? You guys know how I love those WWII uniforms, hah.

** Speaking of stills... while I took them I noticed a huge blooper. Before they meet von Hammersmark at La Lousiane, the camera's on Hicox with Wicki in the back, then it goes to Donowitz, then back to Hicox with Wicki missing, then goes somewhere else then back to Hicox and he's there again.

My guess is that Wicki can disappear on command.

I've wanted to draw Wicki for a really long time now... just didn't have any ideas. (as usual)

I HAVE A STRANGE FASCINATION WITH THIS CHARACTER.

Gedeon Burkhard has an amazing voice and face.

Wicki is so hot and he is a fascinating character, it's just a shame we barely see him or learn more about him. :( The actor who played him is just an absolute babe and I hope he's in more movies over here, not just German stuff.

By the way, what happened to Hirschberg and that other guy we see in the lineup when Raine introduced himself, but never again?

In the screenplay I got it stated that all those who were not in the attic of the building (the tavern scene) were all dead, but I did notice Hirschberg in background, but he was never to found afterwards, which lead me to believe he was caught and/or killed when Aldo and Utivich was caught by Landa. But, I don't know. In the screenplay he taught Utivich how to drive, because he was to be the chauffeur. Otherwise, we have another "Mr. Pink" dilemma.

Never knew that. They left alot out, but I suppose it's necessary. It's just nice to not have "holes" in a story, know what I mean?

Yeah, they did, probably because of the true length of the film when they finished it. And yeah, missing people and no explanation is kinda annoying.
